What is 3D animation? Why learn to create 3D animation? The future of 3D animation in Bangladesh

What is 3D animation?

3D animation is actually everything moving around us is an animation. That is, if a static object is to be animated, if its position changes slightly every second, it will become animated. The animation process seems alive and moving. There are different ways to save or capture animations. For example: analog method uses sequenced books, moving pictures, video tapes and digital method uses GIF, Flash or digital video media.

A camera, computer or projector is used to display it. It can also be called "moving picture" in simple sense. Animation is a method in which images are manipulated to appear as moving images. In fact, animation refers to the process or type of moving pictures. For example – moving pictures in hand pen method, digital video medium and GIF in digital method are used.

How many types of animation?

Animation is mainly of two types.

1. 2D animation.

2. 3D animation.

Here the word D stands for Dimension. That means the dimensions of the TODAY animation are two width (y axis) and height (x axis). That is, when you give a cartoon like Tom and Jerry, you see the question height and one side of the character. This is basically 2D animation.

What separates 3D from 2D is its depth (z axis). In other words, you can see the depth of the object in addition to its height. If you want to understand easily, take an apple in your hand and hold it in front of your eyes. Can you see it? How long and how wide is the apple? Now turn the apple by hand. Can you see around the apple? That is (2 axis) refers to the depth of the object. This means that objects become 3D if you rotate them around.

Why learn to create 3D animation?

3D animation is something that is in demand wherever you go. Because wherever there is TV media there are commercials and these days there are very few commercials that don't use animation. There are many applications of animation such as TV commercials, cartoons, children's educational multimedia CDs, etc. 3D animation is being used. Now you may ask which type of animation is 2D or 3D for me. 3D animation is relatively easy. In this case, you have to master the software used in animation. Also, what is needed is creativity, i.e. using your creativity to create something new.

And in 2D animation you need to have image size skills. Because you need to draw 24 frames per second to animate a 2D character.

So 2D animation is time consuming and costly but both 2D and 3D are in demand in the animation market.

The future of 3D animation in Bangladesh

The future of 3D animation in Bangladesh is very good because till now there are many people in Bangladesh who are making millions of rupees per month by making 3D animation videos. Here's a list of what we can do with 3D animation in the future:

1. Car driving training

Through 3D animation it is possible to master the rules of driving very easily. By driving a car on realistic roads through 3D animation, trainees can easily gain the courage to drive in real life and learn to drive quickly. 3D cars are used to teach driving to female police officers of Bangladesh Police.

2. Aviation training

Aviation training is a dangerous task Commercial airlines or military forces in the developed world have been using 3D animation for pilot training for a long time. Flight simulators are used for this. By applying 3D animation techniques, it is possible to train pilots in flight simulation at low cost.

3. Creating games

Various interesting games are currently being developed using 3D animation (Xbox 360, PS2) and there are various types of 3D animation for use on computers. Second Life by Linden Labs, Wii by Nintendo and The Sims by Electronic Arts etc.

4. space expedition

Every phase of an expedition into space has various risks. 3D animation has taken a special place in the training about all the details related to the operations of the astronauts, the various important tests of the preparatory phase, the operation of the spacecraft. Astronauts can get training in advance on things like conducting research in space, feeding in space in a virtual environment.
