Eve Teasing Paragraph

Eve teasing is a social malady and a crime. It is a form of harassment of young girls. It is a bad practice of some miscreants. Eve teasing is aimed at molesting and abusing a girl against her consent. This crime is committed mostly by young teenage boys, both in urban and rural areas. Often, they gather around public places like schools, parks, campuses, picnic spots and randomly tease and abuse women and girls.

 Sometimes, adult men are also seen committing this heinous crime. Due to eve teasing, the girls and their families have to undergo a lot of harassment. They hardly get justice because of legal loopholes. Unconsciousness and carelessness of the guardians, abuses of mobile phones, lack of religious teachings, carelessness of law enforcement agencies etc. contribute a lot to incidents like eve teasing. It has an awful effect on the society.

 Adolescent girls cannot move freely. They always feel insecured outside their homes. In extreme cases, the victims even commit suicide. Bold and preemptive approaches can be taken for eradicating and curbing the crime. Parents should be vigilant on the movement of their children. Proper use of mobile phones must be ensured. Watching obscene and vulgar movies must be stopped. In. fact, law enforcers should play a pivotal role in tackling incidents of stalking.
