The Padma Multipurpose Bridge is a multipurpose road-rail bridge across the Padma River Bangladesh is constructing the bridge with its own resources. পদ্মা বহুমুখী সেতু পদ্মা নদীর উপর একটি বহুমুখী সড়ক-রেল সেতু বাংলাদেশ নিজস্ব সম্পদ দিয়ে সেতুটি নির্মাণ করছে। এটি লৌহজং, মুন্সীগঞ্জকে শরীয়তপুর ও মাদারীপুরের সাথে সংযুক্ত করেছে এভাবে, এটি দেশের দক্ষিণ-পশ্চিমাঞ্চলকে উত্তর ও পূর্বাঞ্চলের সাথে সংযুক্ত করবে। এটি সম্পন্ন হলে দক্ষিণাঞ্চলের ২১টি জেলাকে রাজধানীর সঙ্গে যুক্ত করবে। সেতুটি একটি দ্বি-স্তরের ইস্পাত ট্রাস সেতু যা উপরের স্তরে একটি চার লেনের মহাসড়ক এবং নীচের স্তরে একটি একক-ট্র্যাক রেলপথ বহন করে।
