First COVID-19 Vaccine Shot
Mehedi is a college student. He is afraid of injections and needles. Yesterday, one of his teachers told him that he would be given the vaccine in a few days in the college premises. As soon as he heard this, panic started to seize him. As the day of vaccination approached, his heartbeat got faster.
He was also anxious because he saw his parents and grandparents suffering from various side effects like fever, pain in the place where shot had been given, headache, body ache, etc. after being vaccinated. Finally, the day arrived. He went to college with fear and anxiety. He tried to be brave and stood in a long queue in front of the vaccination cabin with his vaccine card though he was unwilling to move forward. After half an hour, he found himself in front of the cabin and a nurse took him to a corner and asked him to fold the sleeve of his left hand.
He closed his eyes in fear and squeezed his forehead with his right hand. A few seconds later, the nurse asked him to go to the other side of the room and have a seat. To his utter surprise, he discovered that he was successfully vaccinated with no pain at all. It was indeed a great relief for him.
